Description of Lesson: Students will start off the lesson by looking at a hand colored engraving by Paul Revere of the Boston Massacre, 1770. Students will finish and review the Venn Diagram we started from previous lesson (Loyalists vs. Patriots – Day 2). Students then choose what side they would take if they were a colonist at the time, and begin brainstorming/prewriting a persuasive letter to another colonist .
